I have always loved the low-country energy and southern charm of this city.
My Best Friend since second grade had a work conference in November and we decided to extend the stay..
The restaurants and historic downtown are fabulous. I highly recommend 82 Queens restaurant……but a get a reservation quick! They get booked ASAP.
We went to the famous market and purchased several items. I bought a tiny sterling silver snake ring and my friend bought a thumb ring and a cool new phone case.
If I am honest I was a bit sad because the market is way more commercialized . I have fond memories of the ladies that would be sitting on the ground weaving sweet grass baskets and it felt so authentic back in my childhood.
The good news is I had a photographer to capture some of my fashion looks. I actually took the scenic photos.
