It may seem like such a trivial thing to think about beauty habits during a crisis like this coronovirus.
Even in the midst of the unknown sometimes self care can be a wonderful distraction and and even a declaration of self love.
I wanted to share a few tips and products that help.
First of all since we ladies cannot make it to a salon to get our tresses colored we will eventually be sporting a band of our natural hair color down the center of our part. Maybe it’s a different shade or maybe if you are like me …a lot of salty gray.
I love L’Oréal root spray cover up and even their brush stick for finer hairs. Tresseme also make one and both products are relatively inexpensive.
They also come in a variety of shades and will blend-with your natural hair color. Also, since we are home bound try to go a bit longer before you wash hair because this really helps with keeping it healthy. Use some dry shampoo if you have it to prolong the time.
So next let’s move on to nails. I specifically use dip powder from the salon and absolutely love it. I have lost two nails so far and will probably lose them all before this is over. This helpful tip will help until we get a fresh set. Immediately put nail hardener on your bare nails to strengthen them and trim them down and the s@me goes for your toe nails.
I also encourage you to try drink more water and use those face masks you have been hoarding.
Also now we have time for a good warm bath so add some epsom salt and lavender oil along with baking soda to detox .
And lastly, try to get outside and walk or stretch and breathe in fresh air.
